What is YourEventHub?

YourEventHub is your one stop for all local events whether they be big or small. Events are posted by various theatres and promoters as well as you, the user. We envision this site as having not only the large concerts and plays, but also that school play, that craft show down the street, or any other event that matters to you!

In addition to sharing events, you also can add other users as friends, send event listings via mobile phone, indicate if you're attending events, and leave reviews of events to help others decide if they also wish to attend.

Our goal with creating NJ411 and YourEventHub has always been to develop a site that has the user in mind and one that is very simple to use. We have worked hard in presenting the information to you in a simple and useful manner.

How We Got Started

So, is YourEventHub yet another event site? No! Most definitely not. YourEventHub didn't just sprout up as an afterthought; in fact, we developed YourEventHub as an extension to NJ411.

NJ411, launched in February 2004, as an events site that helps fellow New Jerseyans discover events and places in the tri-state area. We have, generally, remained pretty low key; however, we started seeing signs of interest for something similar to NJ411 for various other cities throughout the US and, as a result, expanded to cover most of the continental US. As it no longer made sense to call the site NJ411, we branched off this sister site - hence, creating YourEventHub.

The Team

YourEventHub is run and maintained by the two of us: Anand (an ex-Yahoo! engineer) and my wife, Kulbir (a stay at home mom of two). We are based in New Jersey and are self-funded.

Now enough with the chatter, go check out your local events, share them with friends and, if we are missing anything in your area, go ahead and post them!
